The danger of wisdom

In James 1:5, we are told that if we lack wisdom, we can ask and it will be given to us. Free for the asking, but once you receive wisdom, it comes at a price. You have to follow it.

Wisdom may say, “ You don’t want to say that,” when everything in you wants to, or you know you shouldn’t do something when every fiber of your being is straining to do it.

Wisdom helps tame the tongue. Wisdom works to keep you off Twitter. Wisdom practices discipline.

There is another danger of being wise. A wise person has to fight the temptation to judge others who are not wise and seem to constantly do stupid things.

Think about it.
